Cottonmouth Jones

Born Nov. 6, 1973, in beautiful Vanderhoof, B.C. Didn't take me long (Aug. 3) to decide to up and leave for a new frontier. Fourtunately for me my folks were in full augreance, so we came ot to the island and settled in Parksville. Since then I have lived up and down the B.C. coast, but found myself back here. This was to be a brief stay, but then I hooked up with the Jones' and started bangin' out some sweet music...

Got started in music when my mother force-fed me piano lessons by the elderly catholic lady. This was not at all what a young boy was into, but thanks a million, Mom. I wouldn't be drummin' without that. This lead to drumming in school band in grade six, then just kept going with it...

First band I've been apart of (No kiddin') That hasn't fizzled out in four months or less. Mostly just jammed with buddies up until now... These are some good tunes, I'll stick it out...

As far as music goes I enjoy many different styles, but to me the good of the good is timeless. These are tunes you could listen to no matter what the current trend or musical flavour may be at the time, and they would still hold as solid as the first time you layed ears on it. I think that's the type of songs Cottonmouth Jones is pushin'...

Come and check it out for yourselfs, and hope to see ya at our next show.
